Adedapo Awolayo
Adedapo Awolayo has 10+ years of international oil and gas industrial and research experience in managing small to large scale projects at the University of Calgary in conjunction with R&D Division of Computer Modelling Group Limited (CMG), Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Operations Petroleum Ltd. (ADCO), ADNOC Innovation Research Center – Petroleum Institute, Abu-Dhabi in different functional roles as: reservoir, research, and simulation engineer. He is currently a Tenured Associate Professor at the McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Adedapo expertise includes data analytics, AI and numerical modeling, experimental design and stochastic analysis, reactive transport modeling, compositional simulation, reservoir engineering and characterization, fluid transport in porous media, enhanced improved oil recovery, geochemistry, analytical and numerical modeling, pressure transient analysis, naturally fractured reservoirs, numerical optimization, and CO2 Sequestration. He has authored coauthored several technical publications on topics related to waterflooding, LowSal waterflood, PVT, geochemistry, petrophysics, and reservoir simulation.
Dr. Adedapo holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from LAUTECH, Nigeria; a M.Sc. in petroleum engineering from the Petroleum Institute, U.A.E; and a Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He is a member of SPE
